From the moment Harsimran Singh took his first steps into the business of real estate he was determined to have a big impact.
He started out as a foundation sales consultant for Harcourts Manukau when the office opened in 2012 and the small team had to rapidly develop the new business. Thriving on the challenge, Harsimran worked at the grassroots of the residential sales business and immediately got to know the greater Manukau housing market.
In his first year, Harsimran’s professionalism, immaculate presentation and integrity rapidly generated a successful sales record, which resulted in him winning the Rising Star for Harcourts Northern region. In that same year, he was the national Rising Star runner up for the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ).
Harsimran attributes his success to his tenacity and his commitment to doing everything possible to make a house sale successful for his clients. With a straightforward approach he recognises he is often dealing with a person’s life-savings and he must take his role seriously. Consequently, many clients return to him time and again as their circumstances change. Communicating comes easily to Harsimran – being fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and he knows Manukau and the marketing channels that work with the diverse community.
Consistently achieving the Number One sales spot for Harcourts Manukau, two years in a row, has brought Harsimran ongoing recognition. In the year ending 2014, he placed in the top 100 for Harcourts nationally and was the top agent for listing auctions in the Manukau office. Balancing a drive for success with an understanding of his clients’ needs is producing a winning formula for Harsimran.
There is no stopping Harsimran’s talented sales ability and he was recognised as achieving in the top two percent of sales for Harcourts Manukau in each quarter from January to September, 2013 and again, in the first quarter of 2014. From July to September, 2013 Harsimran was one of the top five agents and he finished the year within the top five percent of sales for the closing quarter.
This high achieving go-getter is definitely on a roll and when he’s not busy at work Harsimran attention is captivated by cars and travel.
